ICON Sponsors Eighth Annual HomeStart Fall Gala
Last Thursday Evening, HomeStart, inc. hosted their Eighth Annual Fall Gala to support individuals and families facing eviction and homelessness. Since HomeStart was created in 1994, the organization has helped over 3,000 families and individuals to stay in their homes, typically with as little as $700. The fundraising event took place at the Seaport Boston Hotel, which hosted 400 guests from various businesses and organizations across the Boston area. Gala Co-Chair and ICON President, Nancy Ludwig, was in attendance along with several other ICON team members. The night included a silent auction and dinner, along with an awards ceremony to recognize John Rosenthal and Bill McGonagle for their unwavering commitment to end homelessness. This year, the event raised an incredible amount of money which totaled to $426,970! All of the proceeds go directly towards providing stabilized living opportunities for those in need to prevent evictions. ICON Architecture was delighted to be a Platinum Level Sponsor for the event and encourages everyone to continue donating towards helping to end homelessness.
