- In the Box District of Chelsea, MA, ICON has created a new 250-plus unit residential neighborhood, transitioning this former industrial district into a multi-block area many new residents call home. We have designed five new infill developments positioned amidst existing residential and retail structures, and worked with the municipality to design and build new streets and public amenities--all within 5 minutes of downtown.
At BoxWorks, the firm designed a 49-unit mix in three structures that combine rental and homeownership. Nearby, Janus Homes comprises 18 units with private decks and an intimate garden, while Spencer Row, three stories of 32 apartments above underground parking, is LEED for Homes certifiable. Highland Terrace, will add new flats and townhouses overlooking a new community-designed city park. Five-story One Webster offers 120 apartments atop 5,000 SF of retail.
