- As master planners for the luxury Sheshan Villas, located 45 minutes west of Shanghai, ICON fused traditional Chinese site design with the best of western, contemporary, new urbanist planning principles. Featuring a spacious clubhouse / guesthouse and 79 two-story villas, the upscale residential development orients to a new canal system integrated into the landscape. ICON designed six of the villas and the clubhouse, incorporating contemporary design and state - of - the - art technology into traditional fengshui ordered homes.
