MassRobotics Startup Space Opens in Boston’s Seaport

MassRobotics has officially opened its doors to robotics startups in the area. The “Shared Robotics Innovation Space” is located within Boston’s Seaport Innovation District, and is already being called home by several diverse technology organizations. A celebratory kick-off ceremony to recognize the program took place last Friday, which included a ribbon cutting by one of the organization’s robots.

ICON has been working with MassRobotics to help envision the next phase of their space in the same building. The renderings, which were created by ICON, were on display at the ribbon cutting ceremony for guests to see. The event was attended by many involved with the overall project, including MassRobotics Executive Director Thomas Ryden and Boston’s Mayor Marty Walsh.
