Our first-place proposal — Fabricated Module, Local Dwelling: A New England ADU — focuses on a simple goal: making it easier for homeowners to build. Not just a concept, but a practical approach to delivering high-quality, small-scale housing across Massachusetts. The ADU is designed to be repeatable, customizable, high-performance, and arrives in a single-truck delivery. Not only that, but it is livable, making the most of a small footprint.
