As Environment Social Governance Director, Michelle advocates for Systems Thinking and data-driven feedback loops to ensure that ICON consistently upholds our values.

In her 24 years at ICON, Michelle’s dual architecture and planning backgrounds, valued stakeholder engagement, and thorough understanding of context grounds each project.  A founding member of both ICON’s Sustainability and DEI Committees, her ability to make complex ideas clear and accessible has made her a trusted leader and pioneer within the firm and across the broader industry.

Michelle’s hands-on, inclusive approach prioritizes team collaboration, underpinned by rigor, transparency, and accountability.  Her ongoing curiosity promotes a process and culture that produces integrative design solutions that drive environmental and social resilience.
