Architectural Job Captain
The Architectural Job Captain plays a vital role in bringing thoughtful, community-centered design to life. Working closely with Project Managers, Project Architects, and design teams, this position leads the coordination and documentation of projects that embody our firm’s values—sustainability, collaboration, creativity, and stewardship. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with a passion for design excellence and a genuine commitment to improving the places where people live, work, and gather.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day production of drawings and technical documentation from design through construction.
- Translate design concepts into clear, accurate construction documents that reflect project goals, community needs, and sustainable design principles.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients—fostering a culture of respect, teamwork, and open communication.
- Manage consultant coordination, drawing integration, and quality control to ensure technical excellence.
- Support construction administration, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFI responses.
- Participate in project and community meetings to help communicate design intent and technical solutions.
- Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to a studio culture that values learning, growth, and shared success.
- Take ownership of project deliverables and uphold the firm’s commitment to design integrity and environmental responsibility.
