60 King Receives “Outstanding Smart Growth Project Award” by Grow Smart RI
We are pleased to announce that the ICON-designed 60 King has received the “Outstanding Smart Growth Project Award” by Grow Smart Rhode Island!
The original three-story building was constructed in 1923, and was previously known as the Rochambeau Worsted Mill, and more currently, The Imperial Knife Factory. Now featuring 60 spacious units, this adaptive reuse is the First Phase of a larger community redevelopment plan for this area of the Olneyville neighborhood.
60 King will be recognized for this award at a reception in downtown Providence on Tuesday, April, 30, where former Governor Michael Dukakis will be the keynote speaker.
