Development Continues at Olmsted Green

Tuesday marked a big day for not only ICON Architecture, but for Boston housing all together. A ground-breaking ceremony took place at the ICON-designed Olmsted Green development, which celebrated the addition of 41-units of townhomes to the existing Mattapan community. Additionally, tax credits were awarded for the next phase which will include 100 units of mixed-income rentals. Speakers at the event included Governor Charlie Baker and Mayor Marty Walsh, where they also announced a combined $100 Million in housing subsidy funds and tax credits to bolster the state’s affordable housing stock. This will include other ICON-designed projects as well, such as the Harbor and Lafayette Homes in Salem, MA.
