HUD Secretary visits Washington Elms
HUD Secretary Julian Castro visited Washington Elms in Cambridge yesterday regarding the modernization project under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program.
Washington Elms is the second-oldest public housing project in the United States and is a significant property for the Cambridge Housing Authority. ICON is working on the modernization of 15 residential buildings and two support buildings on the site, addressing the most critical need across the housing development for the next 20 years.
