Centre 50 and Enso Flats comprises the second phase of the downtown Brockton redevelopment, Centre and Main.
The Residences at Centre 50, a 113-unit rental building along Centre Street, was designed to complement the masonry character and scale of the surrounding historic downtown. Its form and detailing respond to the street grid while providing a mix of live/work lofts and traditional apartments within steps of the commuter rail station.
The building incorporates private front stoops, ground-floor amenity spaces, retail, and an art gallery, balancing density with human-scaled design. Adjacent Korean and Vietnam Memorial Park was designed to enhance its civic presence, providing a landscaped corner that connects the building to the public realm.
The full city block now forms a cohesive mixed-use, transit-oriented development. Across three phases, the project delivers 224 apartments, 52,000 square feet of retail and commercial space, a 415-space municipal garage, and a renewed corner park, bringing new residents, office workers, and activity to downtown Brockton.
