This feasibility study explores renovation strategies for Blakeley Hall, a 1926 Georgian-style residence hall serving graduate and executive education students.
The study included a comprehensive building assessment and three tiers of renovation options addressing deferred maintenance, code compliance, accessibility, functionality, and indoor environmental quality. Higher-tier options introduce new circulation strategies, accessible bathrooms, improved security, shared social and cooking spaces, and a new building link to unify the residence and enclose the courtyard. Each option aligns with the University’s campus carbon reduction and operational goals.
